If you play badminton or tennis, you may already know that half of your racquet’s performance comes from the strings themselves and how they’re strung. There’s a big difference between having your racquet professionally strung or not, and what tension (kg) it’s strung at.
At Racket House, we string racquets from all the well-known brands such as Yonex, Forza, RSL, Li-Ning, ZERV, Wilson, Head, Babolat and more. We have a wide selection of strings for you to choose from. Choosing strings
Racket House has a wide selection of strings you can choose from for stringing. The different strings come in a range of colours, and they also have different playing characteristics that can give your game a little extra.

EXPRESS STRINGING
If you want your racquet strung as soon as you drop it off, you can add Express stringing. In that case, we’ll start stringing right away so it’s ready within 30 minutes. You can wait in the shop, go for a walk, or run an errand—whatever you prefer—while we work on your racquet. The surcharge for Express stringing is DKK 125.

EXPERIENCED STRINGERS AND QUALITY MACHINES
Our in-store stringers have many years of experience stringing racquets. That means they can do it both quickly and with a very high level of expertise. Of course, that experience helps deliver a great end result—but a craftsperson is only as good as their tools, so we’ve also invested in professional machines that ensure a sharp, precise stringing job. The machines are among the very best Yonex has made and cost up to DKK 70,000 each. The machines have a Pre-stretch function that helps the tension in your strings hold better, giving you a better playing experience and longer durability.
We offer a wide selection of strings that add different characteristics to your racquet and are often available in several colours, so you can give your racquet the look and feel you want. In addition, for many brands it’s also possible to paint the logo onto the racquet after stringing, as an extra finishing touch.

YONEX STRINGING TEAM
Racket House Frederiksberg is part of the Yonex Stringing Team, which means we string racquets for players sponsored by Yonex in Copenhagen and the surrounding area. Each year, this adds up to 2,000+ restrings and covers both young up-and-coming talents and the elite from the Danish national team, who compete in the biggest badminton tournaments both in Denmark and abroad. This honour naturally also comes with very high quality standards, which we aim to meet with every single restring in the shop—whether it’s for a world star on the international stage or the star of the local club.
